I’m a designer and researcher that gets excited by intricate systems. My previous experiences include academic research in psychology labs, website design for non-profits, UX research on student life, and experience design for the Government of Ontario.

I’m a curious, hands on person

I value lifelong, interdisciplinary learning. I picked up my first philosophy book when I was 10, almost majored in English in my undergrad, and never expected to work in tech. I also love immersing myself in my work, and learning how the physical and digital intersect.

My past life in psychology

My journey in UX began while completing a B.A. in Psychology, during which I volunteered with school clubs, conducting UX research for them. I also wrote a thesis on the effects of emotional design on learning, which I found to be a great way to get my feet wet in the junction between psychology and design.

Motivated by social good

I’m most passionate when working on projects that touch people’s lives in meaningful ways. Working directly alongside communities via participatory design is my favourite part of this work. Co-design and design justice principles guide me.
